The Multilingual Initiatives Issue Committee aims to expand products and services for Limited English Proficient (LEP) taxpayers. The Committee will work with the IRS Multilingual Initiative (MLI) Strategy Office and the Virtual Translation Office to identify and develop additional products and services in the top LEP languages such as Spanish, Korean, Chinese, Vietnamese and Russian and to develop an outreach strategy to distribute the Basic Tax Responsibility DVD to MLI stakeholders. The committee will also provide feedback on non-English products.
